Spent $200 on a fancy 'crystal' facial roller that broke on the third client

I saw this rose quartz roller online and thought it would be a nice upgrade for my gua sha treatments. The handle snapped right off when I was doing a jawline contour on Mrs. Henderson, and the little ball went rolling under my cabinet. Has anyone found a really sturdy one that can handle daily use?

Wait you paid two hundred dollars for a single roller? That's wild, I've only ever seen them for like thirty bucks max. No wonder you're so mad, I'd be fuming if something that expensive broke so fast.

Yeah, luxury tax is real... hurts every time.

I mean, my friend had the same thing happen with a jade one from a fancy spa brand. It just snapped in her hand during a treatment, and she said the client looked so shocked. She ended up finding a plain stainless steel gua sha tool that's held up for years, which kind of proves @ninar12's point about the luxury tax on the crystal stuff. It's like you're just paying for the look, not something that actually works hard. I'd be so embarrassed if a tool broke mid-session like that.

Used to think the pretty ones were worth the splurge, but that roller debacle totally flipped my mind. Cheaply made junk at a premium price is just insulting.
