Oh man, that reminds me of a friend who bought one of those. She tried it on her own chin first and ended up with a perfect purple circle for a week. She said it looked like she got in a fight with a tiny octopus. I guess they're a lot stronger than they look.

Look at it as a tool for a specific job. Some people have real circulation problems that cause pain, and a good suction device can help with that. A cheap one from a gas station won't do the same thing. It's like comparing a real massage gun to one of those shaky plastic things. You're paying for the right amount of force and a design that won't break in a month.
