The dramatic 8-month glow-up on a client's acne scars with just peels
I had this client come in with pretty rough boxcar scars on both cheeks, and after 8 months of doing TCA peels every 6 weeks (started at 13%, then bumped up to 18%), the difference is wild. Her before photos from January show deep craters, but now the texture is smooth enough she went foundation-free last week. Has anyone else seen results that good with peels on older scars?

I used to be really skeptical about peels for deep scarring, figured you needed lasers or microneedling to actually move the needle. But I saw a similar case in a facebook group where a girl did 20% TCA on old rolling scars and the texture change was ridiculous. Made me rethink what these peels can actually do if you're patient and consistent with the strength.

TCA peels at that strength are no joke. My cousin did 25% on her cheeks for boxcar scars and ended up with a weird line where it dripped wrong. Looked like a burn mark for two months before it faded. She swore off peels after that and switched to sanding with a dremel tool. Not kidding, she actually bought a diamond bit off Amazon and went at it herself. Her skin healed up smoother than the peel ever did. Scary stuff but she got lucky I guess.

Starting at 13% and bumping to 18%" sounds like a video game level up, not skincare. @sandra_bennett59 your cousin's dremel hack is hardcore, idk if i'd trust my own hand with a diamond bit near my face. But hey, whatever works, I guess.
