Just realized I had to pick between a free AI art tool and paying an artist for my band's flyer.

I chose the free tool, saved $150, but now I feel weird about it because the art looks good but nobody got paid for their skill, you know?

But what if the whole band model is just outdated? I mean, a solo artist splits money with a manager and maybe a producer, but a five-way split leaves everyone broke. Maybe bands need to act more like businesses with clear roles and pay, not just equal shares for everyone.

Yeah, it's a tough spot for everyone... the math just doesn't work out for a lot of groups anymore. Bands are trying to split a pie that hasn't gotten much bigger. Really feels like the system is stacked against that whole way of making music now.
