Unpopular opinion: I think it's okay to use a friend's streaming login if they never watch the same shows.
My roommate gave me her Hulu password six months ago because she only watches Netflix, and I see it as sharing an unused resource, not stealing, but I'm curious if others draw the line differently.

Honestly that's just being a good roommate, you're basically doing her a favor by keeping the account active. Maybe it's just me but the real crime would be letting a perfectly good Hulu account collect dust. As long as you don't suddenly binge all of Law and Order and mess up her recommendations, it's a victimless crime.

Wait, what if she's secretly using your Netflix too?

We all share stuff like this now, but where do we draw the line?

My roommate and I ran into this exact thing with her parents' HBO Max account. I told her straight up, hey if they ever cut us off just let me know and I'll chip in for my own subscription. Stole my first rule of shared accounts, never assume it's yours and always offer to pay your share. I accidentally watched two seasons of a show she was saving and she found out because the continue watching screen showed up on her mom's TV. So yeah, protect yourself and just ask before you use it, it takes like 10 seconds and saves a whole lot of awkwardness.
