Tried running the Snohomish River Trail after dark last week and almost tripped over a beaver
I was out past 9pm near the Legion Park entrance and that thing scurried right across my path, has anyone else run into random wildlife on that trail at night?

Raccoons are way scarier at night, they'll stare you down like they own the trail.

Had a buddy swear he saw a coyote slinking along the same trail near that Old Snohomish-Monroe Road cutoff around 10pm. @lilyp37, those raccoons definitely give off main character energy, wish I'd known that before I tried night runs. He said the coyote just kind of padded along the edge and didn't care he was there.
