My barber in Tempe said something about my hair that made me think about my whole job

He was just trimming my neckline and casually mentioned, 'You know, the back of your head is the part you never see, but it's what everyone else looks at all day.' It hit me that I spend so much time focused on the front-end details at work, but maybe the behind-the-scenes stuff is what really matters to everyone else. Anyone else have a simple comment from a stranger that stuck with you like that?

Oh man, that's a wild thought! Now I'm worried the back of my head is just silently judging me for all my bad life choices. My barber once told me I have a "strong cowlick" back there, which honestly sounds like the part of my personality I try to keep hidden. Maybe my hair's back-end is a total mess that I'm just ignoring!
