Wait, I don't think it was last Tuesday. Wasn't that the day it rained all morning? If the window was broken that day they'd have noticed the water coming in way sooner. Might wanna double check which day you're talking about before you say anything to anyone.

My buddy got roped into covering for his roommate's pet damage once. Landlord found out anyway and my friend almost got evicted too. That kind of lie just blows back on you.
