Overheard my boss tell a client we 'never had that call' about a refund

It was in the break room yesterday, clear as day. He was on speaker with someone who clearly asked about their money back three weeks ago. Now I'm stuck knowing he lied to save the company maybe $400. Do you tell the client or just keep your head down?

Honestly, that feels like a pretty big thing to mix up though. I just don't buy it.

Hold on, did you actually hear the original call three weeks ago? You only heard him deny it happened. Maybe the client is confused.
