Overheard my neighbor lying about a package delivery to get a refund
I was in my building's lobby yesterday and heard the guy in 4B tell customer service his new headphones never arrived. I saw him bring that exact box inside on Tuesday. It's not a huge amount, maybe $150, but it's still stealing. Now I'm stuck wondering if I should say something to the building manager or just let it go. Has anyone else been in a spot like this where you know something small but wrong is happening?

Where does it stop" really hits home, I feel that same worry all the time.

Honestly, that's more than a little cheat, that's straight up fraud lol. I'd probably tell the manager.

Seen this kind of thing a lot lately. People will cheat a little on returns, or lie about a restaurant order to get a free meal. Feels like everyone's trying to game the system over small stuff now. Makes you wonder where the line is anymore.

Where does it stop if we all let the small lies slide? I see this attitude everywhere, like people taking extra supplies from work or fudging hours. It chips away at trust for no real gain.
