Well now, I have to disagree with that. Cats don't teach us things, they just show us what they want. My old tabby would yell at a door until I opened it for him. That's not a lesson, it's a demand. He never once showed me how the knob worked. I believe we're just giving them too much credit. They're smart, but they're not teachers.
