You sure it wasn't a beanbag chair instead? That's what my buddy ended up with after he cashed out his crypto. He thought he was being smart, but then he spent half of it on a fancy recliner that broke within six months. The couch is the least of your worries if you don't have a plan for the rest of the money. A lot of people blow through their gains on stuff that doesn't matter. Better to set aside some for taxes first, then think about what you actually need.
