Big smile after a linoleum install with zero landfill waste

Finished a clinic floor using sheet linoleum, and we recycled every scrap piece through a local program. The adhesive was water-based, so cleanup was easy and non-toxic. The client loved that we kept everything out of the dump. It’s a small thing, but hitting zero waste on a job like this feels really good.

Seeing that "zero landfill waste" on your linoleum install... it's honestly so good to hear. Construction trash piling up in dumps is such a common, ugly problem. You recycling every scrap piece, even with the easy cleanup... that's the right way to do it. Those small wins on single jobs really do add up. It makes me feel like the industry might actually get better, one floor at a time.

I saw a piece on the local news about construction waste recycling programs last month. They said something like 40% of landfill waste comes from building materials (which is wild, right?). Good on you for keeping it out.

That stat is terrifying but it makes the effort worth it.
