Serious question, do you guys still use a manual tile cutter for big jobs or is a wet saw always better now?
Just finished a 400 sq ft bathroom in Denver where I used my DeWalt wet saw for everything, even the straight cuts. My old boss would have made me use the manual cutter for anything straight to save time on cleanup. But honestly, the wet saw was faster and the cuts were cleaner, even with the extra water mess. What's your go-to method for porcelain tile these days?

Oh for sure, the wet saw is a total game changer once you get used to it. I remember fighting with a manual cutter on some really thick porcelain tile and it was just a nightmare, every single cut was a gamble. But the first time I used a good wet saw on that same tile, it was like night and day. The cuts were so clean I didn't even have to hide the edges with trim, just a perfect straight line every time. And honestly, the mess isn't even that bad if you set up a little splash guard, totally worth it for not having to deal with chipped edges.
