Unpopular opinion: I just read that the average installer walks over 7 miles a day on the job

Found it in a trade magazine article about long-term joint health. Honestly, that explains why my feet are always shot after a big vinyl plank install, anyone else track their steps?

My friend Mark's old office had mandatory "wellness walks" that were basically a slow, confused 5k around the building. It reminds me of what @kim.jake said about his buddy's boss. They even had a spreadsheet tracking your laps, and people would hide in the bathrooms to skip rounds.

My cousin's old job in Phoenix had a step count leaderboard, and @stellaperry is right, people would just shake their phones on their desks.

My buddy's boss actually made them do a team building 5k once and it was exactly like that.
