Watching paint dry taught me to respect adhesive cure times.

Now I plan for full drying before walking on new floors.

True, patience isn't exactly our strong suit as a species. @victor779 nails it with the callback stories, all from skipping that one extra day. We really love creating extra work for ourselves, don't we?

Heard a podcast where a floor guy said most callbacks are from people not waiting the full cure time. They walk on it too soon and the planks get loose or the adhesive fails. That extra day of waiting saves so much hassle later. Funny how we all have to learn patience the hard way sometimes.

Rushed through a floor install last year and skipped the full cure. Learned the HARD way when edges started popping up a week later. Now I tell everyone to just WAIT, even if it feels like forever. That podcast story is spot on, we all want it done NOW but regret it later. Patience really is a skill we have to practice.

We're all just future cautionary tales.
