A bride in Memphis asked for all white flowers, then changed her mind at the last minute.

We had the whole arch done with lilies and roses, but two days before the wedding she saw a picture with blush peonies and wanted a full swap. I explained the cost and timing issue, but she got really upset and said it was my job to 'make the vision happen'. Has anyone else had a client try to change a major floral element that close to the date?

Ugh, that's a nightmare. Last minute changes like that just aren't realistic with supply chains. You were right to be honest about the cost and timing.

Can you believe how often people expect miracles like that?

Honestly, it's like they think we have a magic wand. I mean, hall.joel is right about honesty, but sometimes I wish I could just make things appear. Maybe it's just me but that honesty feels pretty rough when you're the one saying no.

Totally. People forget how things actually work. Honesty is the only way to go.
