I keep seeing florists in my area use the same three roses in every arrangement.

It's always red Freedom, white Vendela, and pink Sweet Avalanche. I get they're reliable, but it makes every shop window look the same. I started mixing in garden roses like Juliet or David Austin's Patience, and clients love the different look. Do you think sticking to the basics is better for business, or does variety actually sell more?

Totally, mixing it up is a game changer for sure.

Safe choices keep the lights on though.

Actually, garden roses are a type of rose, not just something you add to regular roses. They're the really full, ruffly ones that smell amazing. So it's more like swapping one kind of rose for a fancier kind, which totally changes the feel. That texture kai mentioned is everything.

Honestly, my first few arrangements were so basic they looked like they came with a free side of guilt. I was scared to move past the usual roses, thinking clients wanted the safe choice. But once I tried adding a few garden roses for texture, even my most boring aunt raved about it. Variety doesn't just sell, it makes people remember your shop.
