Finding old plastic bags reminded me of my forgotten zero-waste dream.

I was cleaning the kitchen and found a pile of plastic bags I kept from years back. It took me back to when I dreamed of going zero-waste, but I gave up because it felt too much, and now I just try to do my best. Do you ever look back on an eco dream you had and feel okay about where you are now?

My closet has six reusable bags I never use.

Progress isn't about perfect zero-waste from the start. Even @danielnelson's unused bags show a step towards caring, which counts. Feeling okay with small steps is better than giving up entirely.

My friend felt overwhelmed but started composting anyway.

Yeah, those unused bags... I've got a drawer full myself.
