Switched our weekly team meeting from Monday morning to Friday afternoon

We used to do our main planning session at 9 AM on Mondays, but everyone seemed tired and unfocused. After moving it to 3 PM on Fridays for the last two months, our action items are way clearer. The team actually has the weekend to think things over, and we start Monday ready to go. Anyone else try shifting their meeting schedule and see a big difference?

Wait, your boss actually got fired just for trying a different meeting time? That's wild.

A study from Stanford last year found Friday afternoon meetings often have better outcomes. People are wrapping up their week and tend to be more decisive. Your experience totally lines up with that.

Friday meetings are the worst for actual work.

Wade_wood, I'm the reason those meetings go long.
