Shoutout to the new ceramic fiber blankets we switched to last month

We were using the old style rock wool insulation on our holding furnace for years, but the heat loss was brutal. Swapped to a 1-inch ceramic fiber blanket and our gas bill dropped 15% already. Anyone else made a switch that actually saved real money?

Honestly read a case study about that exact swap saving a foundry thousands.

Wow, that's the power of good insulation everywhere.

Seriously, it's wild how much gets wasted without it. That old insulation just bleeds money straight into the air. The payback time on new stuff is crazy fast sometimes. Makes you wonder why more places don't jump on it sooner. Just seems like such a no-brainer for saving cash.

My buddy's shop saved a ton after swapping their oven insulation.
