My main client's payment system crashed right before rent was due
It happened last Friday, and their whole invoicing portal went down for 48 hours. I had a $2,300 invoice from a project in Austin stuck in limbo. I had to call them directly and get a manual check rushed, which was super stressful. Has anyone else had a big platform fail on them like this?

Man, that's the worst timing. Did you get the check in time for rent? I had a similar thing happen with a payment processor last year, and it took a whole week of panicked emails to sort it out.

That 48-hour window @wadew51 mentioned is a serious system failure. It makes me wonder what their backup plan was for something this basic. Getting a manual check shouldn't be the only fix for a crashed payment portal.
