My closet organize job proved label makers are pointless

I got a label maker to sort my messy closet last weekend. It took forever to type and print each tag. The labels started peeling off after two days. Now I just use a marker and tape, which works faster and stays put. Why do people bother with these gadgets for simple home tasks?

My sister gave me one for Christmas and it just made the mess look more official. All my nicely labeled bins now hold random junk because the system lasted about a week. The labels started peeling off anyway, so now it's just a plastic box with a sticky reminder of my failure. The chaos always wins in the end.
