My neighbor's kid asked for a haircut, and I learned a new style
She wanted a trendy cut from a show, so I had to find examples online (what a rabbit hole!). Now it's a popular request in my chair.

Understand that completely. Those show inspired cuts are taking over my schedule too.

Block out a couple hours on Mondays for those show cuts. It keeps the rest of your week from getting messed up. I learned that after my own toddler clip moment, like @nathan_brown59 mentioned. Clients will wait if they know you're the go-to for that style. Just be upfront about when you can fit them in. This saves everyone the headache of rushed jobs and bad results.

Scheduling a whole block for one style sounds risky. What if Mondays are slow for those cuts but busy for regular trims? You could lose walk-ins. My system is first come, first served, but I quote longer times for complex jobs. Clients get a realistic wait, and my day stays flexible. Locking in a set time just doesn't work with how my week flows.

Honestly my version of those cuts looks like I let a toddler loose with the clippers, @ninaowens. Hope that makes you feel better about your schedule.
