Pilot car dog wanted to race my Peterbilt at 2 AM outside Amarillo
This beagle in the escort vehicle kept barking at my trailer every time we passed a rest stop, so I started revving the engine to see his reaction. He actually got loose and sprinted alongside us for about 100 yards before his owner yanked him back. Has anyone else had a trucking animal encounter that made you question your route choices?
Why would you rev the engine and rile up a dog you already knew was rowdy? That owner was probably scared half to death watching his beagle chase a rig down the shoulder.
