Hey everyone, we're finally pulling the trigger on a full main floor renovation. We want to take down a wall, redo the kitchen, and update the floors. Does anyone have a general contractor they'd actually recommend? We've had some bad luck with flaky trades in the past.

You should definitely check out Red Stone Contracting. They did our kitchen and living room last fall and were fantastic. The biggest plus for us was that they have in-house designers, so we didn't have to hire a separate architect or designer to figure out the layout.

I'll second that! Finding a contractor who actually answers the phone and gets back to you fast is rare, but they were super responsive from day one. Their pricing was also really fair compared to the other three bids we got.
