Got a simple project done in half the usual time today
I had to replace a leaky kitchen faucet in my own house, something I've done maybe five times before and it always takes me a whole afternoon. This time I had the right tools laid out, read the instructions once, and finished in under 90 minutes without a single trip to the hardware store. Has anyone else had a random day where everything just clicks like that?

Maybe you just had beginner's luck on a fifth try.

Finished in under 90 minutes without a single trip to the hardware store." ...okay now I'm suspicious you made a deal with some kind of plumbing demon. Because that never happens. Every time I touch a faucet I end up at the hardware store twice, then again the next day because I bought the wrong size washer. You must have some kind of superpower or you jinxed the next five projects you touch. Seriously though, when everything lines up like that it almost feels illegal. I'd be side eyeing that faucet for a week waiting for it to start leaking again just to balance the universe. Nice win but watch your back, the plumbing gods don't like being shown up.

My record before was a solid three hours and two trips to Lowe's, so 90 minutes feels like I cheated somehow. I'm half expecting @william_garcia to show up at my door with a wrench and accuse me of making a deal with the plumbing demon he mentioned, because it really does feel like I stole that time from future me. That faucet better not start dripping next week, or I'll know the universe is just messing with me for getting cocky.
