Brushing my teeth turned into my quiet time
I always brushed my teeth fast to get it done. Now I take my time and notice how it feels, and it clears my mind. Makes you wonder what other daily tasks could be little breaks, right?

Try washing dishes by hand instead of rushing to load the dishwasher. Focus on the warm water and the repetitive motion, it lets your brain just zone out. You can grow a calmer view from the simplest chores.

Washing dishes by hand really does help clear my head. The warm water on my skin and the routine of scrubbing plates makes time slow down. I actually look forward to it after a long day. It turns a chore into a moment of quiet.

What if the stuck-on food just makes you mad?
