After months of stress, grocery shopping felt peaceful today.

Selecting produce carefully became a meditative break for my mind.

Texture hunting in the produce aisle totally works.

Ever tried focusing on just one sense at a time, like touch or smell? Honestly, when I'm stressed, I make a game out of picking the perfect avocado. Feeling for that slight give, checking the stem, it forces me to be present. Tbh, I'll even spend extra time in the herb section just crushing a leaf of basil or mint to snap out of my head. Ngl, turning a chore into a sensory exercise can really reset your nervous system.

Actually that kind of intentional focus would make my anxiety worse. Standing there overthinking an avocado sounds like a recipe for decision paralysis. Honestly the peace comes from the mindless routine, not adding another task to be mindful about. Letting my brain go on autopilot in the aisle is the only break I get some days.
