A calm weekend let me fix my rushed build mistakes

I tried to follow a new build guide after a busy work week and kept messing up. After taking a break, I redid it slowly over the weekend. Everything clicked into place and it started up on the first try. Learning to step back from work stress really helped with my PC project.

Rushed hands, steady mind.

Learned the hard way that rushing just causes dumb mistakes like flipped front panel connectors. Slowing down let me actually see the tiny triangle on the CPU socket and match it up. That clear focus turns a frustrating job into something that just clicks.

What kind of mistakes were you making when you rushed? Like wrong cable connections, or forgetting thermal paste? I'm curious what exactly changed when you slowed down. Was it just double-checking each step, or did you actually understand the guide better with a clear head?

Oh man, my buddy did the same thing. He was so tired from work he put the CPU power cable in the wrong spot and forgot a standoff. The whole thing shorted. He took it apart, waited a day, and just followed the pictures in the manual step by step. It booted perfectly that second try.
