Rant: Figured out my subscription bleed after a reality check
Opened my bank app, saw five recurring charges. Two were complete mysteries. Dug into old emails to trace them. Both were expired free trials I forgot about. Cancelled on the spot. Now I have an extra fifty each month. Finally feel like I'm adulting properly.

Man, this hits home. I once paid for a podcast app for over a year without realizing it. Cancelling that was a weird mix of relief and embarrassment.

Honestly my subscription list looks like an archaeological dig of poor financial decisions. I found one last week for a meditation app I used twice in 2020. Felt like a real genius unearthing that gem.
