Vent: Waiting on a pressure test held up the whole site
Got stuck on a big install last month because the inspector was booked solid for a week. Our pipes were all ready to go, but we couldn't touch anything until he signed off. It threw our schedule way off and the foreman was not happy. What do you guys do to plan around inspection delays? I feel like there's gotta be a better way.

Used to hate buffers, but now I swear by them.

Three buffer apps later, I'm still not convinced they're essential.

Same as @kimk58, I tried a bunch and found them more hassle than help at first. They just seemed like an extra step for no real gain. Then I found one that actually fit how I work, and it stopped being a chore. It turned into a total game-changer for keeping my posts regular without the last-minute panic. The trick was ditching the fancy ones and going with a simple setup. Guess it proves you gotta find the right tool for your own brain.

Keep it stupid simple and it clicks.
