Update: From ignoring to loving podcasts on room makeovers
I used to think listening to people talk about painting and rearranging was a waste of time. A friend made me try 'Fresh Coat Chat', and the tips on picking wall colors without samples changed my whole living room. Now I play episodes while I work on small updates around the house. What podcast got you into a home project you were putting off?

Skipped every DIY audio thing for years, figured it was just background noise for people who already knew what they were doing. Stumbled on 'The Grout and About Show' while looking up how to fix a tile, and the host explained floor sanding in a way that finally made sense. That one episode got me to actually rent the sander I'd been avoiding for months. My hallway looks completely different now, and I've got three more home fix-it shows in my queue.

You ever put off a fix for ages too?

Lol same. I wrote off all that stuff as boring until 'Painters in Your Ears' did a deep dive on cutting in edges without tape. Their trick with the angled brush and a steady hand saved me so much time on my last apartment refresh. Now I binge it during commutes.
