Learning about clothing waste has me second-guessing every cheap buy.

Ugh, I totally get that. I stopped buying those super cheap tops on a whim and now save for maybe two good pieces a season. They actually last and I don't feel guilty about the waste, you know? It's a slower way to shop but it works.

A report from my local waste department showed textile waste doubled in five years. It's insane how fast fashion adds to that pile. I've been trying to buy less but better quality, but it's not easy. How do you deal with the urge to buy cheap stuff when it's everywhere? Do you think most people even care about the long term cost?

Ever wonder if a cheap shirt actually costs more in the long run? Those fast fashion pieces fall apart so fast and just add to the landfill pile. It makes saving for something sturdier feel way smarter.
