Tried the rooftop garden and the basement archive, guess which one won

Last Tuesday I needed a quiet spot, so I hit the library's basement archive first. The fluorescent hum and dusty carpet made my head worse, but the rooftop community garden a block away had a bench under a maple tree, and 20 minutes of birds and breeze fixed me right up. Has anyone else found that the most obvious quiet place is often the noisiest for your thoughts?
