Having a massive headache with a neighbor who just built a fence clearly over our property line. We've tried talking it out nicely, but they refuse to budge or check the actual county survey. I think we need to get a lawyer involved to send a formal letter. Anyone have recommendations for someone who handles property stuff?

You should give Brent W. Caldwell a call. He helped us resolve a really messy easement issue with our shared driveway last spring. A single, strongly worded letter from his office on official letterhead got the neighbor to back down immediately without having to actually drag it out in court.

Ugh, neighbor disputes are the absolute worst. Just a heads up, make sure you have your official survey documents printed and ready before you pay for a consultation, it'll save you an hour of billable time.
