I thought reality show alliances were silly, but a game night with friends proved me wrong
We tried a backstabbing strategy in a board game, and the betrayal felt so real I cheered. Now I analyze every contestant's move like a sports commentator!

Same here, used to roll my eyes at those alliance talks. But man, after a brutal game of Catan last weekend, I'm honestly watching Survivor with new respect.

Wait, no way. Catan's cutthroat for sure, but comparing it to Survivor feels like apples and oranges. @brookep80 mentioned how competition brings out strategists, which is true, but Survivor's social dynamics are so manufactured it almost feels cheap after a genuine board game night.

Wait Catan's worse than Brooke's frenemies thing?

True, Catan turns friends into frenemies REAL quick. It's a perfect example of how competition brings out our inner strategist, makes you see politics EVERYWHERE now.
