The Tuesday I cleaned out my garage and found my old band posters
Last spring I spent a whole Tuesday sorting through 14 years of boxes in my garage in Tucson, and every poster from my high school band days brought back a different version of who I used to be. I kept two that still felt honest, but the rest went to the curb with the broken shelf and the bag of mismatched screws, and by sunset that space felt like mine instead of a museum. Has anyone else had one ordinary afternoon that quietly helped them drop a version of themselves they were only carrying out of habit?
Honestly sounds like you just cleaned your garage and got a little deep about it. I've thrown out old stuff too and felt nothing, so maybe the posters weren't the real issue. Sometimes a boring Tuesday is just a boring Tuesday.
