Shoutout to the volunteer at the coastal cleanup in Galveston last Saturday

She pointed out that microplastics were hiding in plain sight under the seaweed piles, which I never thought to check. Has anyone else found unexpected hotspots like that during cleanups?

Hmm, I see it a bit different, @markh85. Kind of feels like that approach overlooks how things can shift in practice. Sometimes you just need to roll with what's actually happening rather than plan for every detail, you know? I've watched setups that looked great on paper fall apart because they didn't account for people just doing their own thing. So yeah, I get why you'd think that, but I lean the other way on this one.
