That field I grew up playing in near Tulsa is now a strip mall with a dollar store
My dad took me out there 15 years ago to see fox dens and wild turkey tracks, and now I can't even find where the creek used to run because they paved right over it - has anyone else watched a childhood place just vanish like that?

Tulsa's been built out like crazy since 2010.

Gotta disagree with you on the timeline... I've been watching that area change since the early 2000s and it was already losing those wild spots way before 2010. My cousin's land out by Sand Springs got swallowed up by a housing development back in 2006.
