That one freak week in June made me rethink my whole stance on climate change

I know this community leans hard into doom and gloom about the planet, but hear me out. Last summer we had this one week of perfect weather where temps stayed exactly 72 degrees and the humidity was low for five straight days. My garden exploded, my electric bill dropped to $47, and I spent every evening on my porch without a single mosquito bite. It felt like the Earth was giving us a break, and honestly it made me wonder if we focus too much on the worst case scenarios. Am I the only one who thinks maybe the planet can handle more than we give it credit for, or did anyone else have a surprisingly good streak like that?

Oh wow, that one week was actually a heatwave in a different state. Local freak weather doesn't disprove global trends.

Did that heatwave happen to hit during a full moon? I swear every time we get a weird weather spike in my area it seems to line up with the lunar cycle, though that's probably just me seeing patterns where there aren't any.

One good week doesn't prove much, @the_alice has the right read on it.
