Always thought electric cars were too limited until I saw my neighbor's road trip data
My neighbor drove his Model 3 from Denver to Salt Lake City last weekend. He showed me the trip log on his phone. He only stopped to charge twice, each for like 15-20 minutes at a supercharger. Total charging time was under 40 minutes for a 500 mile drive. I always assumed you'd need to sit around for an hour plus multiple times. That trip data honestly flipped my whole perspective on EV range anxiety. Has anyone else had a road trip experience that changed their mind about EVs?

Yeah, that 'total charging time was under 40 minutes' part really hits different once you see it in real life." I had the same moment when a buddy drove his Kia EV from Chicago to Detroit last fall, only stopped once for maybe 20 minutes while we grabbed burgers. Now I actually look at the charging networks instead of just the range numbers when considering an EV.
