Am I the only one who sees people asking the same question over and over without searching first?

I'm in this community every day, and I swear I see 'how do I start a blog?' at least three times a week. The thing is, there are already dozens of threads with step-by-step guides from 2022 and 2023 that are still totally valid. It matters because it buries new, unique questions. I know because I tried to find an answer about podcast hosting last week and had to scroll past six of these repeat posts. What's the best way to gently point someone to the search bar?

It's the same everywhere now, people just ask instead of looking. Makes me miss when forums had actual search bars you had to use.

I'm guilty of that myself sometimes, honestly.

Totally get it! I started forcing myself to search for five minutes first, like @lilyp37 said, and it actually helps. What's your go-to trick?
