Fixed my garage door opener in 45 minutes after 4 days of struggle
My garage door kept reversing halfway down, so I replaced the sensors and springs thinking that was the problem. Turns out the track just needed a 2 degree angle adjustment with a rubber mallet I already had. Has anyone else found a simple fix after buying a bunch of parts you didn't need?

Drove me crazy when that happened" is an understatement honestly. I literally had the SAME thing with my generator last winter during a power outage, and I was ready to just chuck it into the yard. It was sputtering and cutting out every five minutes, I couldn't even keep the fridge cold. Took me three days and a bunch of YouTube videos to finally figure out the carburetor was just gunked up from sitting too long. Felt like such a win when it finally ran smooth, but man, the stress was NOT worth it.

Wait, you actually got it running after three days? Did you have to take the carb apart or did you just dump some cleaner in there?
