Always hit save yourself every few minutes, even if the app says it's auto-saving (trust me on this one).

Heard a horror story last week about cloud sync failing mid-doc (nightmare fuel, honestly). Manual saves are the only real safety net.

Nightmare fuel" is right. I still get chills thinking about my cousin's 20-page paper that evaporated because their wifi blinked at the wrong second. Like, the cloud just decided it was break time. All that work just gone, poof. Makes you want to tap save after every single word like some kind of paranoid ritual. The cloud is a fickle roommate who might just eat your leftovers.

Right? @wren638 gets it. My laptop died once and took a half-finished report with it, never trusting auto-save again.
