My nephew's 11th grade history question stumped me twice
He asked why we memorize dates when we can just Google them, and after I gave my usual spiel about context, he pointed out that my answer still didn't explain what those dates actually mean to anyone's daily life, so now I'm wondering if we should be teaching cause and effect before chronology, has anyone else hit this wall with younger folks?

Didn't think about it that way before, but he's got a point...

Wait, he actually said that about the battery life after a full year of daily use? Honestly, that's wild to me because my last phone barely lasted half a day by month eight. Ngl, I would've called him out on that claim if I hadn't seen the test data myself.
