That Tuesday where everything went wrong at my job in Austin

Last month I had a day where my car battery died, I spilled coffee on my shirt, and my boss told me a project I spent 40 hours on got scrapped all before 10am. What made it stand out was how each thing just piled on, like the universe was testing me. By noon I was sitting in my car eating a sad sandwich from 7-Eleven wondering what else could hit. Has anyone else had a day where you just had to laugh because crying wasn't gonna fix it?

...and that's the point where you start wondering if the universe has it out for you personally, isn't it? What I'm curious about is whether you felt a shift after that day, like things got better or you started looking at your job differently. Did you notice your boss's attitude change or did you start bracing for the next disaster every morning after that?

Wait, you spent 40 hours on a project and your boss just... scrapped it before 10am? That's insane. I can't imagine putting that much work in and then having them just toss it like it was nothing. Makes me wonder if they even looked at it or just decided on a whim or something. That coffee spill sounds like the final straw too, like the universe was piling on just for fun. Honestly, I'd probably still be mad about that weeks later, not just laughing it off.
