Why that one Tuesday last month was my worst work day in years

I had this Tuesday last month where everything just fell apart. I pulled up to a job site in Austin for a routine rodent exclusion and the homeowner had a huge pile of junk blocking the access point I needed. They said they'd move it but took over an hour, so I was already behind. Then my truck's AC died right in the middle of a 95 degree afternoon while I was hauling equipment across town. I spilled coffee on my paperwork and had to redo all my notes. The last customer of the day told me they saw a mouse right after I left, which basically meant I had to go back for free the next day. Has anyone else had a single day where every job just fought against you?

Didn't used to believe in cursed days but man that Tuesday sounds like it would've converted me too.

My buddy Mark had a day like that last summer. He's an electrician and he got called out to three different houses in one afternoon, all within like a 30 mile radius of each other. At the second house, he accidentally backed his van into a low hanging branch and it cracked his back windshield. Then he realized he left his main tool bag at the first job and had to drive all the way back for it. By the time he got to the third house, the customer had locked themselves out and he had to wait 45 minutes for them to come back with a spare key. He said it was the kind of day where you just wanna go home and start over the next morning lol.
