Found out my "unlimited" cloud storage had a 5TB cap the hard way

I was backing up client project files last week and got a notification that my sync stopped. Turns out my plan has a 5TB limit and I hit it like 6 months ago, so nothing had been uploaded since March. Are there actually any true unlimited options out there or is that all marketing fluff?

Did you end up switching to something else or are you still looking? @the_wendy is right, Backblaze has been solid for me, no limits so far and I've got way more than 5TB on there. I just keep my external plugged in and let it run.

Have you looked into Backblaze? I read a blog post from a photographer who said they've been using it for years without hitting any limits. Their personal plan is supposed to be truly unlimited for one computer, but you have to keep the drive connected for it to work. Some people say the restore process is slow if you need to download everything at once, but for backup it seems solid.
