Just noticed something about those coworking spaces popping up everywhere

I stopped by one of those newer coworking spots off South Lamar last week for a meeting and half the people there were just taking phone calls in the common area. Is that normal or are we just pretending open floor plans work for actual work now?

Yeah pretty much just a place to be loud on the phone near other people doing the same thing. Open floor plans were a lie we all bought into.

Open floor plans and real work go together like a truck stop shower and a five star hotel. At least the noise gives everybody something to complain about besides the lukewarm coffee.
